Chunky Bangles are Trending in 2025

Chunky bangles are the wrist accoutrement to know this year. Here, T Australia rounds up the best versions — from high-gloss resin to polished metal styles made for stacking.

From the translucent stacks spotted on Saint Laurent’s Autumn 2024 runway, to Olivier Rousteing’s gold cuffs in Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2025 show, the chunky bangle is the accessory to covet this season.

First appearing on the wrists of ’80s It-girls and ’00s tastemakers, this season, chunky styles have made their return to high-fashion circles and the carpal bones of the style set (see: Kylie Jenner’s ’80s inspired cuffs courtesy of Schiaparelli at Paris Fashion Week).

In 2025, bold and dimensional is brought into balance by cool resin, polished metal and sculptural silhouettes. Elsa Peretti’s “Bone Cuff” reclaimed wrist space on Margot Robbie, Hailey Bieber and Sarah Jessica Parker, while mixed metal layering has been Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa’s off-duty calling card this summer.

And high jewellery players are all claiming a piece of the action. From glossy statement makers (Saint Laurent and Isabel Marant), to smooth resin bangles best applied as part of a stack (Dinosaur Designs), and beaded wristlets in carnelian, quartz and pearls (Vermeer Studio and Paspaley).

Here, our favourite pieces for styling the trend in 2025.
