From Loewe’s star-studded autumn winter 23 campaign to Bottega Veneta’s endless summer, here’s what’s on T Australia editors’ fashion radar this week.

Bottega Veneta Opens the Doors to Five New Resort Boutiques
Inspired and designed around a palette of materials from the Veneto region of Italy, Bottega Veneta launches five new Resort stores across the world this month in Ibiza Marina, Saint Tropez, Yalikavak Marina, San Diego and Hawaii Ala Moana.
Drawing upon the concept of “craft in motion” – an integral design influence for the brand’s creative director Matthieu Blazy, the maison’s identity is reflected not only in the furniture, but throughout the space, creating uniquely warm atmospheres. The use of plaster creates an elegant curvature and tactility across the boutiques, from the store’s internal staircases to the rounded shelving units. The new, summer-ready outposts will feature the brand’s ready-to-wear lines and refined lightweight fabrications crafted for seasonal versatility, alongside accessories (including an exclusive colourway – Bottega Veneta’s Cabat hue – available in limited quantities). Open from May 2023. bottegaveneta.com

Hedi Slimane Brings Celine to the Sunshine State
From May 17 through July 31, 2023, Celine will host a luxury pop-up boutique at Brisbane’s Queens Plaza precinct. Modelled upon the French label’s signature brand of discrete luxury and artisanal craftsmanship (note the gold mirrored styling and transparent interior styling), the pop-up gives Brisbane locals the opportunity to shop their favourite pieces in person. Celine’s iconic Triomphe signature handbags, which first appeared on Hedi Slimane’s debut runway with the Maison in 2018, will be on display, alongside the Triomphe Canvas, and the next-gen Ava carrier, mini bags, small leather goods and other objects of desire. celine.com

Juergen Teller Turns his Lens to Loewe’s Starry Campaign Cast
Loewe pulls out all of the stops this season with its Juergen Teller photographed autumn winter 2023 pre-collection campaign: a brutal yet slightly off kilter document of the community of artists and creatives within the Loewe community, with each subject offering their personal take on life, work, and invention. Featuring actors, curators, singers, models of all ages and walks of life, the cast includes “The White Lotus” stars Aubrey Plaza and Murray Bartlett, the musician Dev Hynes, the model Xiao Wen Ju, artists Nairy Baghramian and Koo Jeong A, and curator Hans Ulrich Obrist. The campaign marks a new chapter of Loewe’s ongoing relationship with Teller, whose subversive style and dry humour create a welcome tension with the brand’s key seasonal pieces: the Elephant bag, the Paseo satchel, the cult favourite Puzzle bag and the Loewe Front Tote. loewe.com
