Cao Fei: My City is Yours 曹斐: 欢迎登陆

At AGNSW, Cao Fei’s high-fantasy neon dreamscape is on display for its last week. In the lower level wing of the Naala Badu building, find a surrealist city amidst street dance, synth-pop music, the old remains of cult-classic Marigold Yum Cha restaurant and many more.

Drink and Draw with Daimon Downey

Close out Double Bay Art Month at Matteo Restaurant for a relaxing Drink & Draw session hosted by artist and draftsman Daimon Downey. Set against the backdrop of the Italian aperitivo, this workshop invites you to unwind with a glass of your favorite spritz while guided though a sketch by the artist. Downey is known for his abstract work which is teeming with life and colour.

Drink and Draw runs on March 29th, 2025 at 3:00-4:30pm.

Thérèse Mulgrew’s ‘The Dining Room Table’ Exhibition at PIERMARQ Gallery

Opening last week, PIERMARQ is currently presenting The Dining Room Table, an exhibition of new work by Chicago-based artist Thérèse Mulgrew. The artist’s works on canvas are a study of meditation and desire in oil, offering a contemporary intrepretation of still life.

Nick Modrzewski’s ‘Behaviour in a Bad Age‘ at Coma Gallery

COMA is presenting Nick Modrzewski’s solo presentation, Misbehaviour in the Age of Geometry, on view at 37 Chapel Street, Marrickville, Sydney, 2204, NSW. In his body of work, Modrzewski interrogates systems of control—whether social, legal, architectural, or psychological— and the ways they are enacted upon human and non-human species.

Anne Delaney’s ‘Looking & Seeing’ at Bowery Gallery, New York

Delaney’s rustic murals intermesh gendered dialogues, violence, and rural landscapes within the confines of home and also outwards in natural environments. The opening reception to Anne Delaney’s exhibition at Bowery Gallery will take place on March 27th, 7PM.
