Famous for presenting some of the most creative and culturally innovative voices — see: the CEO of Burning Man and the creative director of Cirque du Soleil Lab — the Remix Summit has garnered a reputation as a launchpad for creativity and entrepreneurship. Held from 12-13 June, 2025 at Sydney’s Australian National Maritime Museum, this year’s conference will explore culture and the experience economy by way of the theme, “Futures of the Fearless”.
Co-founder Peter Tullin says, “Remix Summit, Sydney explores the future of the creative economy. Cultural organisations and creative entrepreneurs around the world are developing new types of experiences, such as immersive experiences that are fuelling the shift from Central Business District to Central Experience District.”
Upholding its prestige status alongside the summits held in New York, London and Istanbul, Sydney’s version, put on as part of this year’s Vivid festival, will deliver over fifty diverse speakers. Expect Agnès Abastado (deputy director of digital and head of digital development at Musée d’Orsay, Paris) on impressionism and virtual reality; Michele Y. Smith (CEO of the Museum of Pop Culture, Seattle), and Matthew Cameron-Smith (CEO of Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia — “Field of Light” & “Wintjiri Wiru” Uluru) on drone investment.
Now in its thirteenth year, the summit continues to bring together global voices and provide a platform for contemporary collaboration and innovation.
